And their lunch money.

If the GOP gets the ass kicking they so rightly deserve, how are they going to ever come back from pledging fealty to Trump? The last defeated GOP presidents were loathsome but never approached Trump loathsomeness. I'm looking forward to a very painful process for them.

I’ll say this and hope an elected Democrat reads our blog: The Democrats need to call “bullshit” on the first Beltway Bigmouth who dares utter the word “bipartisanship” after the bullshit Obama dealt with for 8 years.

Someone is always going to be the dumbest person in Congress. I mean, I know that's actually Louis Gohmert, but he deserves an understudy.

If Biden doesn't grab him, I like Adam Schiff for Speaker.

I agree. We need a conservative party to balance the Democrats, but at this point the GOP is literally becoming fascist. Burn them to the ground.

OK, I've watched the video. What is your alternative? How do we decide who's qualified? Because our various versions of that have been very, very bad. And if it's a matter of having people "sufficiently" educated, what do we do in the mean time while we wait for that to happen? And of course, what's sufficient? Again, our experiments with that have tended to be very bad.

When Liz Cheney is too liberal for the GOP....

You're going to need literal flamethrowers to get rid of this infestation.

So, in essence, a problem is not worth pointing out unless you already know the solution. Got it.

I was in Cape May* last Thursday through Saturday for my annual goodbye to my beaches nature communing session; it was peaceful and relaxing. There were a lot of Amy Kennedy signs lining the roads and unfortunately a lot of Van Drew signs. There were also a lot more Biden/Harris than I expected and sadly, way too many trump signs and flags- some houses had multiple flags and banners. I saw some of their mocking signs with regard to Pelosi and Biden and trump country signs.

I knew where most of them were from prior trips this year and was prepared in my travels to roll down my windows and flip them off. I almost screamed myself hoarse over the few days with the repetitive "Fuck Trump", "Fuck you" and a few other things I cannot type as they are not allowable by non-commenting rules. It was bonus when people were outside when I did it. I had my middle and youngest daughters with me- middle daughter gladly flipped off the flags with me (ah, yes bonding); youngest daughter (21) kept asking "Do you have to scream out the window?" Yes, yes I do.

*Cape May proper and surrounding towns.
