Hi TR, how are you and cat overlord? did you have a good holiday?I'm going to be in the Amsterdam at the airport for a few hours in March, I got to choose layover in New York or Amsterdam on trip back from Ghana, I figured I'd go somewhere I haven't been before, so Amsterdam.
If a few hours excludes actually leaving the airport, then Amsterdam Schiphol is not a bad choice. They even have a mini Rijksmuseum inside the terminal where you can see Van Goghs/Rembrandts etc.
If a few hours includes time to leave the airport, then take a train to Amsterdam Centraal from Schiphol airpoirt and you are in the middle of historic Amsterdam.
Check if the delays at the airport are over as my cousin actually got stranded there for a day.
Hi, thanks for the information. Right now, the layover is going to be about 4 hours, but that is subject to change. My main hope coming back is that at the airport is that they don't say "There is a bad storm in Atlanta and flights cancelled." When I was flying out of Heathrow I got that about hurricane in Daytona Beach, and couldn't go to final destination from Atlanta and had to spend night at Atlanta airport.
I forgot to add that the trip time from schiphol to amsterdam central station is about 20minutes by train and they trains leave every 1 minutes or so depending on the day and time. You should be able to squeeze in a short visit to the city center...
My feline master an I spent newyears looking at fireworks (he likes looking at the lights in his territory but dislikes the hard bangs).
When I visited my moms place for christmas my cat was with me on a leesh, including exploring the bus and train (although I picked him up if the crowds scared him when walking between stations)
Yet again, Brasil is showing you how to deal with fascist criminals. Fine them for frivolous lawsuits, continuously call out their lying and arrest their criminal thugs and enablers.
I read that customs is fairly strict in Amsterdam, just passing through, so I'm not sure if, with only 4 hours there, I want to even leave the terminal.
During a longer than expected wait I switched between terminals to get to the one that has a nice irish pub and went back later. That meant going through customs 2 more times, but I think the customs people thought it was a good idea.
Then I hope you will be in the terminal with the mini Rijksmuseum access. Longer distance flight usually are.
Rudy (the feline head of the house) is hoping for snow in which he likes to play. During our walks I do pick him up from time to time so his paws can warm up.
HI TR, how are you and Rudy? How is the school year going? Do you have a Spring vacation period? We have one in March, that's when I'll be going to Ghana, and a layover in Amsterdam on way back.
Wait'll you catch Jackie Mason, Jr's act!
Neutered? How about fangless, clawless and paralyzed?

Democrats response to this will be to sternly denounce this a couple of times, then assume everybody knows it and NOT use it in any future campaign...
Same goes for either being moral or allowing religions to brainwash children with lies.

Rudy is 5 kilograms of red striped and spotted feline naughtiness.
We just completed a week of exams and tests in our school. Now the task of grading begins. I am glad I work parttime in such weeks.
