And, historically, the sitting president's party gets hammered in the midterms. So...just sayin'.

Republicans are always like, 'I don't like the political opposition, we must 'investigate' to try to find some justification for what we made up on talk radio and Twitter.'

So they want to destroy Social Security and Medicare. As the old saying goes, "Fuck around and find out." The "red trickle" of 2022 will look like a tsunami in comparison to what happens to these clowns in the next election cycle.

Since Brazil wants to extradite Santos, maybe we can fit him on the same plane as Bolsanaro.

I nominate "invesdickgations" to be the official name for any and all Hunter Biden related things. It's my new favorite word.

Your chances of getting audited are about as high as your chances of getting struck by lightning. The GQP has gutted the IRS, and most of the complaninst about them now is that the customer service is poor since nobody works there.

The repubs vote to defund the (tax) police. That should help lower the debt. They talk about defunding Homeland Security to help secure the border. No one is that dumb accidently.

Thom Hartmann has been discussing this clause of the 14th Amendment:

"The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned."

It seems to nullify the whole debt ceiling thing, which BTW, was only begun in the 1950s. I really, really hope the Biden admin uses this. I say, why the hell not?
