They seriously need to stop. This is quite possibly the easiest problem in the world to solve given the fact that what they're proposing to pay doesn't even rise to the level of what fast food workers are getting paid in Europe, which in Denmark is $32/hour + benefits

That's exactly what all the Republicans - Congressional and Executive - in the last Administration were trying to make happen.

And the Koch/ALECs are still trying to control enough STATE legislatures to call a Constitutional Convention and destroy the safety net. Why do people think they are trying to do that ...?

that kind of thing conflicts directly with the sadistic impulses of born assholes; they get no satisfaction out of making people happy, even if it pays better in the long run than being a slave-driver. What is mere money when compared to the satisfaction of making your underlings miserable?

This is a natural, unorganized, labor strike. It didn’t take union activism to make it happen, just people who realized their lives are actually worth something.

I'm glad we're finally getting out of the 1990's.

In Texas an individual can earn 30K (possibly more) can get a plan with a $0 monthly premium. Families can do better.

I'd like to work less, but do nothing all day? I'd get bored and look for activities that at least as strenuous as working and instead of getting paid, I'd have to pay for the pleasure! Working is simply the better deal.
