Judges always say that bullshit about the lawyers when they save them from a protracted trial. Literally every time.

I thought this was a joke. It's so like TFG, isn't it. What does a judge care-- I mean that's an emotional judge.

Here's hoping that Smartmatic doesn't settle, and drags these a*holes through the trial they deserve. I'd love to see Fox have to pay out a boatload of money and get torn apart in court. And have to pay out another boatload of money.

You'll never be that wealthy because you aren't a big enough of an asshole.

Jake Tapper should not be laughing. I have seen too many of his right wing guest spout lies coming straight from a GOP playbook that have been spread around for months. Bullshit he and his research staff should have been expecting since those exact lies had been repeated dozens of times on CNN and elsewhere and quickly debunked. But all we heard from Jake is "are you sure" or a quizzical side eye before launching into the next softball question.

Jake makes big bucks as a supposed experienced and knowledgeable political journalist but every time I have seen him interview a Republican I end up screaming at the tv "Jake, he's lying" or "That's bullshit and you know it, Jake. Why don't you call him/her on it!" But of course if he did that, act as a seeker of truth and facts, his right wing guest list would vanish and his bosses would be unhappy.

Fox "reputational damage". Now that's funny!

I hope Dominion uses some of that money to put up billboards in Republican districts saying "Fox News lied and got caught. It cost them $787 million as a penalty. Think about that the next time you believe Tucker Carlson."
