Lightning in a blizzard is the craziest. I've seen that a few times. It's beautiful here in Ontario now that the storm's gone through, btw. Blue sky and sunshine sparkling on the new-fallen snow.

The lack of wind is important. In fact, it's pretty much what distinguishes a "heavy snowfall" from a "blizzard", isn't it?

Sources told The Macomb Daily a female inmate had the fake gun in her underwear when she was brought into the jail on Thursday afternoon. The woman allegedly told jail officials she was suicidal and she was taken to the mental health wing to be examined by a nurse.

According to the sources, the woman was then placed in a cell with another female inmate. The inmate showed her cellmate the weapon, and the cellmate notified jail officials.

The article could be wrong, but "then" generally implies time order.

This deserves more upfists for truth. If every person who ever threatened or attempted or "attempted" suicide was actually so persistent that they succeeded, the fucking suicide rate would be measured in integer percent per year. (Actually, it might not be that high, but it would be a lot higher than it is).

So it isn't clear from the block quote...

The owner agreed.

that a gun range target that depicts a skeleton with a long beard dressed in a turban and robe may provoke gun owners to view local Muslims who wear such garb as enemies.

He agreed because that was his intent and he'll continue the practice? Or, he agreed that only a shit stain of a human would do such a thing and he'll stop and reconsider every aspect of his sorry life? Which is it?
