Wait, doesn’t this memo mean that it doesn’t matter whether trump thinks he “won”?

The fraud stands on its own, because they planned to replace legally certified votes with counterfeit ones. What trump “believes” makes no diff at all, the votes are legal documents he tried to swap with bogus HEREBY DECLAREs in order to defraud the U.S.

From the BBC: "A man who posted violent threats against President Joe Biden and other officials online was shot dead during an FBI raid on Wednesday....

[Craig] Robertson posted on Facebook: 'I hear Biden is coming to Utah. Digging out my old ghillie suit and cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle.'"

To me, it seems Donald Trump was prepared to commit high crimes and misdemeanors to avoid being labeled a loser. I would encourage all media anchors to use the term "loser" in their coverage. The volcano will erupt.

Make it "criminally indicted loser of the 2020 election". That's pretty accurate.

"riveted on the evidence of electoral abuses by the Democrats" ..The constant barrage of the lies that the Demodrats (typo and it stays!!) are cheating is flabbergasting. I would hope and pray that when this document is discussed there is a conversation about who is lying and cheating who. This really needs to be hammered home.

"So Bill. Looks like this document pretty much laid out a way for the GOP to cheat and commit voter fraud. Am I reading that right?"

"Yes, Shelia. The widespread voter fraud that the Republican's claim is actually on THEIR part."

"Uh oh Bill. Looks like the calls are coming are coming from inside the house.....AND the senate!"

"I see what you did there Sheila!"

Palmer seems to stay up 20 hours per day by now ... and some of his posts get a bit more strange than usual. But this analysis is still spot on.

"Jack Smith subpoenaed Donald Trump’s Twitter account in January and has since received access to it. Much of the focus will be on Twitter’s delayed compliance and contempt of court fines. But the big story is what Smith needed with Trump’s Twitter account in the first place. ..."

worth reading.

One more good comment from the NYT:

"I have been a lawyer for over forty years. This isn't just a test of our electoral system. It is a test of our legal system. Lawyers cannot use their power as officers of the court to toss legal jargon salads as part of an illegal conspiracy to violate and thwart the constitutional provisions for the election of our representatives, including the President.

Lawyers hold their licenses at the will and pleasure of the courts, which are their licensing authorities. Every one of these lawyers should be disbarred for life, not only as punishment but to deter others in the future from engaging in this reprehensible conduct that severely damages the credibility of the legal profession. This was no less a coup attempt because, instead of military uniforms, the perpetrators wore suits."

Very nicely said. An important profession sullied by prominent figures in probably every state government as well as the feds. They tell us this was done by lawyers and we're supposed to say, "Oh, that makes it ok", when if fact it makes me queasy to think about the local lawyer I might call on to help with my will. These bums should be taken to the wall without a blindfold.

Interesting comment over on the NYT:

"While Mr Smith and Mr Mueller worked, there were no leaks and we had very little idea of what they had uncovered until people were charged with crimes. Contrast that with the work of Ken Starr where leaks were constant. One of the key players in that leaky boat is none other than Brett Kavanaugh. The Whitewater investigation lasted longer than the combined Trump investigations."

Worth remembering when the GOP howls about the scale of Smith's investigation.

Starr's "investigation" was overtly political. If they could damage Clinton, they would.

Looking at some of Starr's finest work, I wonder of there was a misogynist streak to him, and maybe a little voyeurism... he pilloried Monica, and he made it almost impossible for college girls to get justice for rapes. Odd that such storied career has so much of other people's sex in it. I'm not phrasing this the way I want, but I see him as having been in the back row of the porn theater of life.

Also, he looked like the religious fanatic in a "B" movie. That's enough right there.

And the GOP was totally fine with it going on for years. Something we can remind them of when Smith finishes with 1/6 and the stolen documents and turns his attention to some of the other kinds of corruption the Trump administration engaged in - e.g., self-dealing, bribery, and colluding with an enemy state.

I really hope this idea gains more steam and eventually happens as a result of this giant ratfucking mess. It's always been un-democratic and we should have gotten rid of it a long time ago. I know the GOP will never go along with it, because they'd never win an election again, but fuck them. Open land and cows shouldn't count more than actual American humans.

The idea that "the person with the most votes wins" is pretty standard common sense stuff.
