A repub party that supports guns everywhere, for anyone, of any kind, and can then turn around and crocodile sob about police getting shot is some incredible shit.
My small town of 7500 has over twenty full times cops. Their budget is two thirds of the whole village budget. We can't get street fixed and there concerns with our water. All they do is harass high school kids and profile on the only state highway they goes through.
We have people marching in New York City last week and I condemned it and I condemn it right here again today -- using profanities against the Police Department.

I was JUST reminded of Dr. Tiller by a comment in a different thread. Many rushed to defend Tiller's critics as just exercising their first amendment rights even though their rhetoric was way more incendiary. Trump is our Stalin and it seems too many cops are happy to become our repressive secret police force.
the former New York mayor claimed that he "can't walk down the street" without people asking him to run again and turn a blind yet approving eye toward police violence.
Which is funny because we have actual video of him walking down New York streets and getting insulted by everyone passing him.
But, yeah, of course Trump and Rudy like New York policing. New York policing (What-with stop and frisk and broken windows) has often come down on the marginalized.
I am very concerned about the ramifications of the now universal practice of virtually everyone in the right wing to instantly nail themselves to a cross (using only 3 nails, of course) at every single injury or slight. The main stream media seems to report every statement from the viewpoint of the aggrieved and the right wing propaganda machine amplifies the moans and groans of the suffering with megaphones having their volume turned up to 12.
The result appears to make the right wing more unified with every member having endured similar suffering, each and every one of them sharing an Auschwitz experience, or worse, several times a day. It makes it so easy for them to become outraged when they feel that someone who they categorize as a social inferior is treated as their equal.
