If he got any counseling from that setup the Gothard people broke the law. They are obliged to report to the police and Child protective services in Arkansas Any counselor and any member of the clergy ( catholic confessionals exempted) IF they didn't provide real professional counseling with trained people. He got no counseling just talked to people.

Evidently a close family friend, you are not going to spill those beans as a politician unless you totally trust the guy. I suspect there are more shoes teetering on the edge.

Gosh Both my brother and I skived off of doing chores as kids and teens. When force to take out the trash we grumbled and bitched We sulked we didn't do our homework any more than we could help and we almost never displayed a joyful countenance, My brother used some dope we did not molest small children. We grew up to be responsible adults my brother is a doctor specializing in caring for the aged and I run a business.

Make the kids do the chores and let them sulk, at least it is an honest emotion.

The victim who requested the destruction was 4 when it began. A toddler.

Hey if the devout believe a woman should be turned to salt for looking over her shoulder and disobeying her husband I would have no problem with 3 pillars of salt somewhere in Arkansas, gently melting in the spring rain.

She was 4 and 5 when this occurred.

It is a requirement in their "faith" that the kids present a cheerful countenance no matter what. No real emotions allowed. Failure to smile gets you punished. Poor damaged people.

Got to suspect something when every single thing is described as precious and sweet. Life isn't like that.

Problem with that theory. men didn't begin to multiply till after Cain and Abel had sex with someone. Supposedly they were the only people on earth with their parents. Then after the flood only Noah, his wife and kids. hmmmm
