It's been absolutely nauseating to watch Democrats support of Cheney. Disgusting and disgraceful. I don't care that she's a woman. Women are perfectly able to be evil. Even Trans or Bi women; or have we sunk so low as to revere Sinema and Jenner for who they are rather than loathe them for what they do?
Cheney sees she has no future in a Trump Party. That is all. She went right along, accumulating power and benefitting personally, until she saw the end of her road.
That's when she discovered her principles. Only then.
Anybody who ever trusts and supports a Cheney always gets what they deserve. Stalin and Hitler hated each other; does that mean we have to support one of them? Either we have principles or we're just nicer Republicans.
I remember many years ago when a very Republican governor of IIRC Texas, decided he had questions about the death penalty because of convincing proof that some innocent people had been executed. He called a temporary moratorium on executions pending an investigation. He was a pretty horrible Republican, but I had to respect him for that. There is no shame in respecting someone who stands up for their principles -- WHEN they do that.
