It was the most pathetic thing we have heard about Trump in at least three weeks.

When you step back and look at it, this is pretty good strategy.
We got CHIP re-funded and off the table. In 17 days we get to go to the mat again, with only DACA at risk, and McConnell just made a huge public deal out of his promise to vote for it before then.
The Rs are screaming about how much they won... which is going to hurt when they have to do it all over again in three weeks. Unless the electorate really can't remember more than two days in a row, in which case nothing even matters anymore.
