Back around the turn of the century, Hewitt was a very reasonable guy who had a weekly show on PBS in Los Angeles. He also had a weekend talk show of KFI radio and he was conservative without being nasty. I guess cleaning Trump's balls with his tongue paid better.

Hewitt lists people on the left being uncivil to those on the right who DESERVE all the incivility they can get and then some, and equates them to right wing VIOLENCE (and attempted violence) against left wing figures.

And Bernie condemned it "in the strongest possible terms" very shortly after it happened. He expressed heartfelt regret that it happened and wished Steve Scalise a speedy recovery. Drumpf has fat-fingered his responses to both of the major events of last week in so many ways, but it's clear that he has no compassion or empathy for the victims, the bereaved, or those threatened by the MAGA bomber.
