OT - So the Florida 6 yo who shot the teacher was under an education plan that required either his mom or dad to stay at school with him. Neither parent made it to school that day, the gun belonged to his mom and WAS SECURED, she says.
No explanation for 1) how the kid got the gun or 2) why neither parent was there.
I did it on my own in less than 3 years but I was really annoyed and stubborn. I got out with 5 figure debt not ridiculous 6 figure debt. I got a relatively good paying if soul suckingly depressing job. I lived like I was still a starving student and didn't buy anything that wasn't a necessity. I got it all paid off and quit that job and never went back into the field. Got another degree later but managed it all on a tuition reimbursement deal from an employer.
I had a bit of a tantrum at work this week that resulted in me pretty much telling my boss that she was cockblocking me from promotion by giving me her work to do while she continued to take on more work than she could handle. You see, my job is project manager, not assistant to the research director.
Told my boss everything I thought about it.
And right in time, they were about to hire another project manager who would be on a path to promotion who is also alt-right. They decided not to hire him as I will no longer be acting as assistant TO the research director.
The primary blame for the downfall of the UC and CSU systems is Reagan. He killed the plan that had it been maintained would have expanded the number of campuses as the population grew and eventually made tuition and fees $0. Fucking Reagan - Fuck that guy
