Neither Obama nor Biden needed to create violence in the streets to deport undocumented aliens. Why does the Trump administration provoke all this violence??? Are they so vastly more incompetent than Obama and Biden? Or is it their goal to have violence in the streets? Or both?
I'm just wondering about the charges now brought against Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was finally brought back to the US from an El Salvador prison. He's now been charged with crimes, and will be fully prosecuted, they say. Here's what I'm wondering - what will a good defense attorney do with the fact that the Federal government, including officials like the SOS, the head of DHS, and the goddam POTUS have been tainting the jury pool for the last three months, making it very difficult, if not impossible, for this man to get a fair trial? Sounds like a great point to make to a judge.
The US said he was deported by mistake. Then we said we couldn't bring him back and El Salvador said they couldn't send him back. Then voile - he's back. Only to face two mysteriously new trafficking charges and other horrendously reckless allegations by the government that they do not have the "cards" to actually charge him with. Such a sham.
So the smarmy little chickenshit Johnson is concerned about the safety of his henchmen. I believe it is the responsibility of the federal government to protect its employees in the same way it is supposed to protect all of us, and to make it possible for everyone to transact their legitimate business out in the open, unmasked. Is there something wrong with that statement? Are these federal employees not conducting legitimate business?
DHS is changing their recommendation to their employees from eat-shit-and-die to breathe-shit-and-die. I really hope that many DHS employees decide the stress of postings like this one are not worth what they are being paid and quit.

The pay scale and grades for DHS agents runs from GS9 to GS12 https://www.usajobs.gov/job/833846200 . Overseas pay is higher, but it depends on the living standards of the country. I presume that Djibouti location pay is a lot less than anywhere in Europe.
Gotta say it's actually pretty damn funny that the ICE agents are being treated no better than these supposed security risks. Sure, they can go to the restroom by themselves, but they have to accompany their prisoners there, too.
