I'll have you know they've formed a committee to develop a study to sternly advocate for a policy up until the Legislature reconvenes, at which point they'll fold like cheap suits and just go with whatever the Governor wants.

The State GOP apparatus has been co-opted by the Libertarians and Tea Party types after the 2012 debacle where nobody knew who was in charge of anything and the whole thing descended into chaos. It led to an amusing scene this year as the State GOP endorsed one slate of candidates and Governor Sandoval endorsed a different slate (Sandoval's endorsements picked up more wins).
