But making them wear a mask is Fucking Tyranny?! I won’t say another word because I’ve already been banned here once for my views on how to deal with Nazis.

I believe "Skaug" is Finnish for "brains of a potato."

Idaho is full of potatoes.

Unfortunately, they vote.

I suspect that a trans kid as loop-the-loop crazy as Marjorie Taylor Greene would not be easy to find.

Aw crap, I hadn't heard it had caught you.

Wishing you a speedy recovery; since you're vaccinated and boosted (RIGHT?!???), the odds, and severity, of long-term damage should be greatly reduced.

ETA: Have you gotten the antivirals? If not, GO GET THE ANTIVIRALS!!!

Well, if Orange County wasn't a clue.....

They just moved to another Orange County, only cheaper. And it's really funny how their 'outside Boise' mini-mansion is going to soon be surrounded by out of control housing growth, because regulation is for sissies...

Iowa as well. Iowa House Bill 413, brought to you by Reps Candice Keller and Ron Hood, was bounced a couple of years ago, but should never be forgotten or pardoned. Something like it may yet be passed if eternal vigilance be not maintained. Had it become law, in the case of an ectopic pregnancy, doctors would have been required to "re-implant" the embryo in an area of the womb where it could survive - a procedure that can't be carried out because it doesn't exist. But failure to do the impossible would have resulted, if the bill had passed, in charges of "abortion murder."And the land that I live in/has God on its side.

With all due respect, Doc, but fuck Idaho. You couldn’t pay me enough to set foot in that state, much less spend a dime of my money there.

Long before that, actually.

Several years ago there was a documentary or news segment about power and light companies lobbying in states like AZ, FL, and NV to not only not roll the meter backward (paying people for power generation,) but to actually charge them a surcharge "to recover for grid costs," which is already part of an electric bill. It was really ugly. The energy companies would pay lobbyist to not lobby against them and essentially made it so no one was lobbying for the other side. This is an article that talks about - of course Kock Industries is leading the charge. First Energy is also involved.
