I would love to see her say the same thing about the LDS (Mormon) Church (she's Catholic) and then be drummed out of Republican politics in Idaho for life.

Christianity is the fake religion that has the most likely false pagan God.

The following are attributes from Gods worshipped long before Jesus - sound familiar?

1.Born on December 25th

2.Born of a virgin

3.Birth was accompanied by a star in the east

4.After his birth was adored by three kings

5.Teacher at 12

6.Baptized/Ministry at 30

7.Had 12 disciples he traveled about with

8.Performing miracles: 8a. healing the sick, 8b. walking on water

9.Known by many names: "Lamb of God", "The Truth", "God's begotten(?) Son",

10.After being betrayed:

11.was crucified

12.Dead-for 3 days

13.Resurrected

These attributes influenced Christianity.

Here is a list of the Gods/Deities and their attributes:

Attis (Greece, 1200 BCE) — Attributes 1, 2, 11, 12, 13

Krishna (India, 900 BCE) — Attributes 2, 3, 8, 13

Dionysos (Greece, 500 BCE) — Attributes 1, 2, 8b + Turning Water into Wine, 9 ("God's son", "Alpha and Omega", ...), 13

My own research into European & UK history shows that the Vatican Council of Nicea wiped out 1100 years of history when King Arthur died; they took the date of Jesus birth from the Kolbrin records (1072AD) and rolled it back to the Hebrew version (3BC); moreover, another 25 years was lost the last time Nibiru came through, wherein the Roman hierarchy wasn't keeping records; so many records were scrapped, not merely lost. Moreover, the Bible story of Jesus took place in Edinburgh Scotland, not Palestine. Jesus didn't go live in Palestine until the Scots threw him out of Scotland for rabble-rousing against the Druids. Upon his trans-figuration, his appearance changed so much, nobody recognized him anymore, so he escaped (Judas died in his place), and ran off to Asia. The promise that He will return is essentially a wish, impossible to fulfill, because he failed his mission in the first place.

That is the problem with being a Catholic. As well as the bible tells them not to pay to mortals (Man) Yet the all pray to marry which IS NOT GOD!

That is one of the many reasons why other Christian sects split from Catholosium and created other denominations.

Most a actually follow the bibles teachings while others created super churches and are doing what the Catholics have done. (Which because of this they aren't actually christians), but they do what you where talking about; their higher ups live lives of luxury while everyone else still lives in poverty.

This all makes sense to me!

I was born and raised a Catholic... I was even an Altar Boy, and eventually, a Lector up to my mid teens. But, too many things didn't jive, made no sense to me. I was at odds with the power of this mystical, magical man in the sky... I was at odds with the very existence...

I was also turned away due to such things as the fact that the clergy (priests, and the like, and those even higher up) are supposed to live a life of poverty, not live lavishly in homes that hard-working people can't afford to own. They aren't living in poverty... Some even live a life of actual luxury and opulence... AND, the Church is always expecting money... demanding a tithing of a minimum of 10% of one's income... even if the person and their family is poverty-stricken, they must make their tithing of 10% or else! Therefore, their children (and they) go even more without food or proper clothing or a roof over their heads, etc.

The story goes that Christians are to live a life within certain boundaries... a few examples are: marriage is a man and a woman (but, historically, the priests, Bishops and Cardinals and other high ranking Christian officials (all male, of course) were well-known to have had their favourite boys, and known to have used them for sex. This became appalling when in the more recent decades when many priests have been accused of (and even found guilty of) molesting and having sex with altar boys... a fact that the Catholic Church fought hard to cover up and deny, sheltering these pedophiles and protecting them. And, the Church continued to ban gay marriage. Another example: Thou shalt not kill: Historically many peoples of other religions and faiths were murdered, villages destroyed, and so forth and so on... all in the name of Christianity, all in the name of God... all in the name of Jesus... Look at The Crusades! People were slaughtered in the name of Christianity because they were non-believers! They were Pagan and refused to convert, for example... Just a couple of examples of how the Church hierarchy preaches and expects Christians to live and act, yet the rules did not, and do not apply to them.

I was also driven away by the very knowledge that so very many Christian practices, beliefs, events, and therefore, holidays (Holy Days) are modeled after other religions and faiths (much like the above-mentioned story of Christ) that pre-date any form of Christianity, mimicking those other heretic religions and celebrations so closely, simply changing the names, the titles, etc., yet denouncing the very source of the "new" religion's people, events, and more.

Any time one questions an authority of Christianity, and said authority cannot "answer" decisively the question posed, the answer is, you simply have to believe, or you simply have to have faith...

I am a non-practicing Catholic, yet, I assure you, I am very spiritual. I believe in many different aspects of the vast and various religions and faiths from Native American Indian, to (largely) Pagan (again, much of which Christianity is based on, yet denounced), and others. I have my own set of beliefs, my own rules to live by. And, incidentally, I am engaged to an Atheist, one who is more Pagan in her beliefs, in her lifestyle, which suits me and mine perfectly.

Oh, and by the way: So very many "non-believers" live a "holier" and more honourable life than many Christian believers.

Abortion, for one thing. No mention of it at all. So, it should be allowed for everyone that wants one, no matter what.

Just as it's hardly mentioned in the Bibble.
