In a shocking rejection of the Lord, Idaho's Kootenai County Republican Central Committee has refused to move forward proposed resolution to declare Idaho a "Christian state." Tuesday night's vote greatly disappointed God, His Only Begotten Son, and the members of the committee who had been pushing the nonbinding resolution as a way of telling the world that Idaho was not going to stand for all the vicious attacks on Christianity that have been going on everywhere.
I have a feeling many of them realized that if they tried to officially make A Christian theocracy, the supreme court would strike it down. Only people who have no understanding, of what the establishment clause actually means, would see how clearly unconstitutional this would be.
Before they pass that resolution in Idaho they need to do a couple of things.1. Pass a Constitutional amendment at a state can secede from the union with a 50% +1 vote of it's citizens2. Idaho must secede from the Union of the United States of America
While I applaud all efforts in South Carolina, Arizona, Texas & now Idaho to do those two things — even though I'd dearly miss the Sawtooth Mountains, downtown Austin and the horse country around those beautiful lakes — I don't think they are doable... so this nonsense should probably stop right now.
