I have a cough now. I felt like I was coming down with a sinus infection yesterday. I am feeling better than I have been since Thursday when I got the booster. Moderna made sure I understood side effects were no joking matter.
The New York Times reports that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises have cancelled a number of cruises because onboard outbreaks of Omicron have led to hundreds of passengers falling ill in recent weeks. It's almost as if being on a tin can with hundreds of other people and a highly contagious virus is not the greatest idea! The Times also notes that the CDC last month warned that people might want to avoid cruises, even if they're vaccinated, a warning that the cruise industry trade association at the time called "perplexing."My best friend's family -- all fully vaxxed, all taking all reasonable precautions -- were going to leave for a cruise yesterday. But they had to scrub it at the last minute. Today's his oldest's birthday, so I'll get the full story when I call to wish him happy birthday.
I was too, in 1980. Families flew in from all over the country for my law school graduation to stand in the (lightly-) falling ash from Mt. St. Helen's. They were not entertained by this.
Older folks immune systems are weaker and don't ramp up a huge response like younger folks. That's why tetanus boosters aren't near as effective after 50...I read that I think on the CDC site...anyway...that's the difference, age kicks our asses in more ways than one.
Could be, yeah. There are still so many of them who think the vaccine shouldn't even be *called* a vaccine because "it doesn't work" i.e., it doesn't prevent infection and disease 100% of the time.

Sorry. Thanks for the warning.
It took me about 30-60 seconds, honestly. Seemed like 30 seconds, was probably actually 60.

Fauci also cautioned that the world has only ever eliminated one infectious disease in history: smallpox.
Hey now, we got rid of rinderpest too!

Pfizer kicked my ass 3 times because I had Pfizer for all 3 shots, Moderna wasn't available here.

That's the reason for the visual: NO MATH
Placing an order is easy and also very quick. Thanks for the information.
I'm sure there's SOMETHING, there just doesn't seem to be much urgency about getting them where they're needed.

Now we have nothing but feces falling from Rethug mouths and asses.
True.
We got rid of the scourge of the Dodo Bird.
