I click the "poop" not because of the writing but because at the end of the (well-written) story all I can think is, "well, that's some load of hot stinking shit." Some stuff is so terrible I just can't even get angry any more. Trump's daily de-pressers ABOUT DEAD AND SICK AMERICANS are at the top of the list, as are misogynist women-haters who are, say, in jail for murder for hire, as are all Trump failspawn, including honorary failson, Jared. Poop. Poop. Poop. I say, poop on them all.
The coronavirus has resulted in the deaths of almost 15,000 people so far, and it hasn't retired from the people-killing business. This is like asking George W. Bush about TV ratings while the twin towers fell, *and Trump openly rejoiced that his building was now the tallest*.
So, you know, yes the reporter was an ass, but he wasn't entirely wrong about human decency being a non-issue.
