Did you guys know it is hella tough to bring the funny when it comes to campaign finance scandals, because you have to explain coordination and superPACs and oh Christ we're bored already. We'll make an exception, though, for this bit of finance fuckery -- possibly maybe criminal finance fuckery! -- involving Scott Walker, because who wants to pass up an opportunity to bash Scott Walker? Certainly not yr Wonkette.
Gotta give the GOP points: your average Blago type kleptocrat just steals the money and when he gets caught just smirks and goes to jail. But for the GOP, graft, corruption, vote suppression, extortion--these are all fundamental forms of free speech.
Either that, or they have a bizarrely warped idea of what the 1st Amendment actually says. But nah, no one is that delusional.
Interesting legal theory there. So when the police arrest a mob enforcer for trying to shake down a store owner for "protection money", are they violating his First Amendment rights too?
I can explain the PACs run by Duh Gov', Allen West, Lloyd Marcus and the rest of their ilk.
The money flows in from the rubes and gulls. Most of it is spent keeping the PACs running (raising more money), supporting their public lifestyles, and then token contributions are made to a few candidates. Often either obvious winners or losers.
Sounds to me like they're just trying to clear some room in the clown car for Raphael "It's Ted now, thanks" Cruz's head and Rand "As in Ayn" Paul's ego.
I think that diet supplement fraud is still possible. You might have a few politicians shout at you, but nothing more.
OMG, this conspiracy is bigger than we thought!!!!
And an even poorer governor who staffs his administration with them.

It's a series of tubes, I say!
Let’s put them all in the same cell. I’m guessing that Christie eats Walker and then dies of a cholesterol overdose.
Nice little democracy you got there. It'd be a shame if anything happened to it.
