Tim Walz rules! Omar leaves a mark too.

Alito says Trump's remarks (shithole countries, etc) are not "overtly racist."

If they aren't, what is? Old racist sexist man yelling at clouds, except he and Thomas have power.

Won't all these racists be surprised when their service workers disappear.

I wonder if 3 sane female Justices have developed ulcers.

The viciousness is intensifying and getting louder and more shrill because they know they are losing. The Right is getting ever more desperate, tying themselves in knots as Dear Leader's mind is being filled with algae.

There simply aren't enough bags of salted rat dicks available on the entire planet to provide what's necessary to shut Smegyn Kelly the fuck up.

Just so I have this straight.

This is a "Faith and Freedom Coalition" event.

And the guy gets up and says "if they don't assimilate, then they should go the hell back to where they came from."

And maybe not in this order, but that's immaterial, he says "the founders created a Christian-based nation."

Because nothing says FREEDOM like GIVE UP YOUR STRANGE WAYS and BE JUST LIKE US MEDIOCRE WYPEEPO.

And nothing in modern life better exemplifies the teachings of Christ, as He set forth in the parables of The Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25:31-46) and The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) etc. like GO THE HELL BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM.

I have nowhere to put this. There ain't enough shit in the world for me to break to get this out of my system.

The same Megyn Kelly who insists that Santa Claus--who isn't real--is white. While Jesus--who maybe did exist--was also white, when it's clear that he was dark haired and dark eyed and fairly dark complected, having come from Nazareth and would have resembled the current day occupants.

Our Megyn is so very, very thirsty.

It's people like Tom Emmer and Megyn Kelly who refuse to assimilate into American culture. I assume that Emmer's and Kelly's families have been in the US for more than one generation, but they want to continue to live like it's the Jim Crow era, when minorities had limited rights and privileges.

They refuse to accept that our Constitution demands of us to "form a more perfect Union, establish justice", "promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity". They refuse to accept that our Constitution guarantees "due process of law" and the "equal protection of the law" for everyone.

It's people like Tom Emmer and Megyn Kelly who can go back to wherever their families came from. The US will be much better off with them and those who hold similar beliefs.

I'm reminded of the fellow with a small machine shop in Springfield, Ohio that employed Haitians.

"They show up on time. They work a full eight hours. They don't show up drunk or on meth. I wish I had two more shifts of them."

And I bet they don't call in sick unless they're dying.

Do you suppose Meghan has any clue about Haiti's history? How the country was raped and robbed by France, populated with slaves, and then abandonned? She claims to have "built" this country, which was mostly already built when she was born and inherited money.

I don't know if she's actually a racist pig IRL, but she knows she can make a living talking like one, which is worse.

How much daylight is there between “really” being racist, and “merely” voting for them and spreading their propaganda? About two photons, if any

It's awfully (and grimly) funny to hear members of a party that has been forcing their minority views on religion, gun control, abortion, climate change, and science in general down the throats of substantial majorities of American citizens who disagree with them to yammer about how other people don't assimilate.

I’ve met plenty of white Americans with not much want-to. I can think of one in particular who rolls into the office around noon and spends his work day shitposting and nodding off at his desk.

Megyn Kelly has a special place in hell reserved for her. Actually they'll have to build a whole new wing down there for Trump and his enablers.

Gee. They sound FUCKING SCARED AND DESPERATE these days. Don't they?

Families like mine -- descended on one one side from war refugees (from the Napoleonic Wars, but still...) and on the other from "economic refugees" (as my mother said, we came here because it was that or starve back in Ireland) it's about as "typically American" as any.

For a time I lived (er... resided) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (and then moved to Iowa City and commuted while working there). One strange thing about that "heartland" city... it's has the oldest Muslim community in the United States. But you wouldn't notice it... a couple generations in, and Muslims are pretty much like everyone else... yeah, maybe use a different butcher shop, and maybe go to religious services on Friday night. but then again, like those "unassimilable" Irish Catholics or German speaking farmers, or Jews, or Mexicans... it someone has worked itself out over time.
