I did not even have to ask, I knew hubby did it, because he buys for himself not infrequently, and always top notch brand name.
Which is fine.
But then later in the day I mentioned we needed a back up battery for the electric trimmer and he was all aaargggle barggle too expensive money money and I was all....the actual fuck Mr. I just spent a couple hundred bucks on work shirts when I do not even work anymore without telling my wife?
So I got the battery (on sale!) a new bra, new socks, and new sandals to boot.
Moral of the story: don't police my spending on necessary items if yer gonna blow a wad on yourself without a word.
