Ehrmagerd. I saw that clip of the Giant head blocking the sun on one of the late nights - Kimmel? Colbert? - and honestly thought it was something their graphics department had mocked up. Emphasis on the mock.

When a colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.

So sayeth the google.

That don't even make sense tho. If yer an oppressed colony, why send a "young woman with a mysterious past"? Would not your plans be better to send a known quality as an envoy, someone on whom you know you could rely? And don't they got the intertubes so they can hire some mercs?

True story, sometimes I just wonder about things addition: Skip to the end for the moral

So part of the entire bank card fraud thing was I had to sit through a list of recent transactions and say them nay or yea. One of these was a couple hundred (!!!) to Carhart. I did not even have to ask, I knew hubby did it, because he buys for himself not infrequently, and always top notch brand name.

Which is fine.

But then later in the day I mentioned we needed a back up battery for the electric trimmer and he was all aaargggle barggle too expensive money money and I was all....the actual fuck Mr. I just spent a couple hundred bucks on work shirts when I do not even work anymore without telling my wife?

So I got the battery (on sale!) a new bra, new socks, and new sandals to boot.

Moral of the story: don't police my spending on necessary items if yer gonna blow a wad on yourself without a word.
