"Regardless, these people are free to believe whatever they need to believe, cope however they need to cope, and seethe however they need to seethe, to prevent themselves from clawing their eyes out. "

Isn't it more that we are worried they will claw OUR eyes out?

I assure you that if they try to claw MY eyes out they will leave sans not only eyes but genitalia.

Hence the worry and even more hence, the preparation.

Nothing about that worries me. I've been prepared for MAGAturd atrocities and the necessary response for eight years, since Pussy Ass Bitch stole the 2016 election.

"These off-putting loser weirdos, bless their hearts, they have no concept of why having big celebs at a rally might just be fun. We guess it’s something they’ve never experienced"

Wait, they had the wrestler, the guy who played Chachi, and the guy from Detroit who used to be friends with a lot of black rappers when he was trying to get famous, and some other guys at some of their events.

Megan Thee Stallion is an absolute delight, and the Rs are probably seething that nobody anywhere near that cool would ever open a rally for the Orange Weenus. Also the pearl-clutching misogynoir from people over her performance is predictable and stupid. #hottiesforharris

"misogynoir"

New word for me, thanks, I had to look it up. I thought it was a sub-genre of "film noir," I was pretty close.

It is, unfortunately, a very useful term to know. The way Black women are treated and viewed by a lot of people is pretty terrible.

Yeah. I watched that scene in horror, but here's a little golden nugget: I showed it my mom ("I never watch the news or follow politics" + "I am voting for Trump because he is against abortion") and she was fairly shocked. She said she would "look into Kamala."

She will likely vote for Leetle Heetler anyhow, but out of a million elderly Trump voters watching it we may have some statistical pull.

Not since the orange menace, anyway. And yet another irony meter is set aside for electronics recycling day.

Trump is really losing it, what with the racist balderdash he's pumping into the ether. That isn't going to work. What's the word for how it sounds today? Ah yes ... "weird." Just plain weird.

Yep. Harris represents the change many Americans were thirsty for. Trump v Biden is tiresome for many. Harris is what they wanted. The Biden loyalists will vote for her. The independents and undecideds now have a younger, more positive and new perspective. Old, wealthy white guys hasn’t really worked the way people tired of the system have hoped for. They will at least say, β€œshe’s something totally different, turning a new page. It’s worth a try.” Many are far more enthusiastic than that. She’s going to be fine if she never paid hush money to a gigolo or executed a puppy.

I think they vet veeps pretty thoroughly, so there shouldn't be any dead puppies or live gigolos in her closet.

Trump will do what he’s best at - destroying himself and everyone around him. He is only capable of spewing bile, which America is fed up with. He is incapable of inspiring hope or promoting policy. He’s practiced only in hateful rhetoric. Joe Biden is old, and his son has made some poor choices. So Trump had a couple easy targets for his attacks. Harris is neither old nor controversial. Trump attacked her identity last night and asked β€œwhat is she? Indian or black? She was always Indian until she became black a few years ago.” He’s imploding. Vance believes single people or childless people, of whom there are millions, have no value or purpose. These guys are doomed, and it’s only going to get worse for them as they grow more desperate. Biden stepping aside will prove to be the greatest sacrifice and politically savvy move in this era. Trump attacking Harris’ identity in an election with equality and diversity at issue is just incredibly stupid.

I saw this and was gobsmacked. WTaF? Is he TRYING to lose? This classless vulgarian continues to amaze, just when you think he has reached the depths of depravity he retrieves his shovel and starts whistling.

In the Ingraham interview when he was bitching about Harris' laugh, the thought was insistent: When have I ever heard YOU laugh, azzhole?

I think you are right, she is a real person and he is...well, there he is.

I've been working on poll number TV graphics the last couple days. I can't say which one, because the poll won't be officially released until Friday. But here's a tease:

Voters who say that their likelihood of voting in November is 93% is "excellent"

PA: Harris 47% Trump 43%

And the funny part?

Not Sure 7% RFK Jr. 3%

Ol' Brainworm can't even win over the Not Sure crowd! "I don't know who I'm voting for, but it sure as heck ain't that Kennedy kid!"
