Swear to God, here in New Orleans it's a 2nd Amendment paradise for gun nuts. There was a shoot-out between 2 cars on St. Claude and a bullet traveled 2/10th of a mile, crossed the train tracks, went through the windows of a house, through a wall, and ended up in the spring green salad at a Poke restaurant.
I think he's already become a meme to them and no longer exists as a separate person. If he says something his "followers" don't like at a rally--like, "get vaccinated--they boo him.
So I've heard. But back in the bad old 80's, when comics took a turn towards the more violent antiheros, he was DC's version of the Punisher/Daredevil. I always really like his uniform though.
I hold a handgun license in Texas. I went through interesting training before the shooting range. During class, the participants constantly asked the lecturer, 'but when can we shoot somebody' (practically in those very words)? His answer was 'not in this situation.' In fact, what we all learned is that a handgun is the last resort available to a handgun owner. Now, there are no such classes. Brace yourself for the results.
"it has created a culture in which there is no truth but the one people make up themselves, where nothing anyone says can be believed. That's the real damage."
I agree. Populations that live in a declarative reality are the most easily moved en masse to do the most evil.
Maybe not substantial, but I sure wouldn't bet against it showing up!

And Kyle Rittenhouse even though his crying was all dry. And just breathing. 😮💨
Extra crunchy!

Republicans used to be unintentionally funny, but now they're just scary weirdos.
Yes you should, it really is quite good. He's a better character than he seems. His BFF Vigilante is a complete sociopath, though.

Can I again say that our county doesn't allow fast food joints in? We had a vote on it lately, and about 75% of us voted "NO EFFING WAY!"
ETA: I have to admit that I stop at mcd's for fries when I go off-island.
Or they'll be dead.
I love it...mine is getting kinda threadbare and worn out so I can't wear it to work any more. I have a bunch of neat tees from there.
