Is Daily Stormer Head Nazi Real Life, Or Is He Just Fantasy?

Early in August, following the events in Charlottesville, GoDaddy.com decided to stop hosting The Daily Stormer website. After several attempts to get the site hosted on other servers, proprietor Andrew Anglin saw that he was not wanted and took his site to the "dark web" where it belongs.

In addition to getting kicked off the internet, several people are currently trying to sue Anglin for orchestrating internet harassment against them, but it seems he's nowhere to be found. His lawyer says he is in Nigeria, which is a rather unusual place for a white nationalist to go.

Could it be he doesn't even exist? Well, probably not. There are pictures of him, and he's given talks before. However, Vox Day -- another right-wing internet crank -- says he has evidence that multiple people have been writing on the Daily Stormer *as* Anglin, and claims to have obtained the official Andrew Anglin style guide.

Vox Day -- real name Theodore Beale -- is a cornucopia of wingnuttery himself. He's a self-proclaimed pick-up artist, a "Christian apologist," racist, and Milton Friedman fanboy who thinks throwing acid in women's faces is doing them, and society, a favor.

Because female independence is strongly correlated with a whole host of social ills. Using the utilitarian metric favored by most atheists, a few acid-burned faces is a small price to pay for lasting marriages, stable families, legitimate children, low levels of debt, strong currencies, affordable housing, homogenous populations, low levels of crime, and demographic stability.

He is also an anti-vaxxer who thinks the moon landing was faked, because of course, and a "science fiction author" who was part of that whole "Rabid Puppies" thing where they tried to make conservative science fiction win Hugo awards or something. Which is to say, we should take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Anyway, Beale says he's suspected for some time that multiple people are ghostwriting The Daily Stormer for Anglin under his name. He also claims to have recently received an email from someone claiming to have been one of these people, who also provided the aforementioned Andrew Anglin "style guide."

Naturally, it included helpful hints on how to "blame the Jews" for everything, just like Hitler would have:

Prime Directive: Always Blame the Jews for Everything

As Hitler says in Mein Kampf, people will become confused and disheartened if they feel there are multiple enemies. As such, all enemies should be combined into one enemy, which is the Jews. This is pretty much objectively true anyway, but we want to leave out any and all nuance.

So no blaming Enlightenment though, pathological altruism, technology/urbanization, etc. - just blame Jews for everything.

This basically includes blaming Jews for the behavior of other non-Whites. Of course it should not be that they are innocent, but the message should always be that if we didn't have the Jews we could figure out how to deal with non-Whites very easily.

The same deal with women. Women should be attacked, but there should always be mention that if it wasn't for the Jews, they would be acting normally.

What should be completely avoided is the sometimes mentioned idea that "even if we got rid of the Jews we would still have all these other problems." The Jews should always be the beginning and the end of every problem, from poverty to poor family dynamics to war to the destruction of the rainforest....

How convenient! These sure are some handy-dandy tips for being the worst.

The style guide also tells writers posing as Anglin to remain POSITIVE. Perky, even!

Positivity

We are covering very negative content, generally, but still as much effort as possible should be put into presenting a positive message. We should always claim we are winning, and should celebrate any wins with extreme exaggeration.

This does not mean we downplay the enemy, just that we play up ourselves. We overestimate our influence.

Always look on the bright side of the anti-Semitic street, I guess?

But what about how to deal with other right wing nutjobs?

No Criticism of Other White Activists

This goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: there should never be any criticism of other white activists, even faggots we all fucking hate.

There is nothing profitable which can come of this. And this is the biggest site, so by attacking others who are wrong all we would be doing is giving them attention they wouldn't otherwise have gotten.

Responding to the bullshit of RamZPaul was a mistake I made which I won't make again.

In general, other white activists should be praised as heroes or by mentioned at all. I think we all probably know who is who as far as all that goes.

Note that this doesn't necessarily apply to all mainstream right wing figures such as Marine Le Pen.

Attacking Mainstreaming Shills

Pro-Jew shills should be attacked. These include Alex Jones, Gavin McInnes and Milo. At the same time, they should also be accused/celebrated as secret Nazis whenever they post anything that lines up with our agenda.

Even if this isn't legit, it's actually a pretty good explanation of how The Daily Stormer and other sites like this operate. The focus on "positivity" and celebration of perceived "wins" with "extreme exaggeration" is a defining characteristic of many other online Trump-centered communities as well. Creating a never-ending hate party is apparently an easy way to lure in susceptible followers, and these people are far more manipulative than we give them credit for. They know exactly how to lure in angry white men who are frustrated by having to live in a world where they don't make all the rules anymore, because, well, they are also angry white men and they know what they want.

So is this alleged "style guide" real? Does Andrew Anglin even exist? Is contemplating these questions too stressful for your Friday? Eh, fuck it.
