I prefer the concept of Purgatory, with re-education and learning to accept responsibility for the effect one's actions had on others. Eventual reconciliation. Eternal punishment is just too dark for me.......with a few select exceptions. You can see their snake tongues flicker every time they speak - back to your Father, the Liar, all of you.
1. Joseph Goebbels.
2. Rupert Murdoch.
4. MAGA Mike.
PS. I really don't know what happens after death, but the vast majority of the world believes in some form of continuing existence (psychologists tell us it is impossible for us to see ourselves terminating - we always envision us surviving the train wreck or whatever) I feel there must be some reason for this belief to have continued for literally thousands of years, that is somehow contributing to our survival as a species. It manifests both the best side (co-operation) and the worst side (competition) of human beings.
Likewise there is an almost universal belief in some form of judgment after death - at least for others, especially if they annoy or disagree with us. Somehow we ourselves will evade punishment.
I remember watching the last night of the 2004 Republican National Convention. The Bushes and Cheneys up on stage while the balloons dropped. Our MSM wasn't quite as servile then, and they had a camera trained on Mary and Elizabeth in the cheap seats for that shot as well.
Emminces grises don’t come grayer. I blame Nixon; he must have seen something in the young Cheney that matched his own cynicism and raw lust for power. I hope he lives his afterlife like a candle in a 130mph wind, without a drop of water to quench the burnin’/ and I would have like to see him croak/but I’ll take what I can get/that candle never burns out/just like Nixon never did
When Biden passes away, no Republican will ever credit his "strong liberal values," mostly because Republicans are consistent in stating that liberals have no values.
Yeah, he was all of that. But when Liz asked him (possibly nor specifically) whether she should volunteer for the Jan 6 Committee, he said "Daughter, save the republic." That probably isn't enough to get him onto heaven, but he might make it to limbo.
And Liz did serve on the committee, and is now sending fundraising emails for Democrats, including Zoe Lofgren (also on the Committee) and others - I don't remember every name. So I'm inclined to extend sympathy to her.
Ta, Marcie. Many of us remember what it was like for our country to be run by a bush, a dick, and a colon. I wish I believed in hell, because I can think of one crooked faced coward who belongs there.
Never a fan of Dick Cheney, but now that we've seen Fat Donnie, JD Butthair, Shit faced Pete, Little Steevie, Christi Cruella and the rest of the crew he doesn't look like such a bad guy.
I recall that "Deferment Dick," during the time I did environmental work and attended required first aid training, at an adjacent function showed up at a hotel in the Rockies with full medical and ambulance support just in case he needed rescue. I suppose one could say that as VP there should be a support staff at the ready, but what I thought at the time was why couldn't the US healthcare system provide for all of us in this way? Good Riddance to the Darth Vader of his day. I hope he must do some reflection and repentance. If purgatory exists, although I skeptical, Defferment Dick needs to do some time.
Trump was not invited, but he wouldn't have come if he was invited. Win win.
"old dick" ...Marcie has a way with words (and images)
...Satan looks rather bewildered over being suddenly dragged into this.
That's where that evil man belongs, in hell

First Kissinger, now Cheney. Even ghouls die eventually, as it turns out.

Fuck Dick Cheney.
It used to be "The Hat Makes the Man". But now it's "The Hat Makes the Man Look Like a Deluded Fool".
We've come a long way, baby 😉!

HIs afterlife began at birth, and even that's over now.

There's no evidence Dems speaking positively about Reps (esp .known bad actors) makes Republicans less radicalized against us.https://bsky.app/profile/playtyperguy.com/post/3m4ttmxfqmk2g

I got about two and a half sentences into Bill Kristol's encomium and then .... better not say, banhammer

Wrong
Rummy and Scud Cheney really showed the Arabs a thing or two about unknown unknowns.
The two of them will spend eternity searching the empty plains of the afterlife for WMDs
always three steps behind Saddam.
