Also, as I posted on SER's substack. I'd ask what his favorite food is of all the "white food". Chance are they were introduced by a wide range of folks immigrating here that were, once, despised like the Dirty Dago's (labeled swarthy as a dog whistle for darker skin), or Latins and a whole lot of Black food history to boot.

I would just like to note that every time I saw Malachi McCourt in a group, he sang Wild Mountain Thyme, always with great gusto. I miss those brothers.
When I came out this morning I watched a guy walking/slogging alongside the fence next to the skatepark, through the 10" we got yesterday. It was 22ish. He found his way onto the concrete where the benches are and sat down, then fell over into the snow. After another attempt he just laid down. He had a car hart type jacket on, no hat, and when he didn't move much after 10 minutes I called 911.
Cops here haven't always been celebrated but they were here in 8 minutes. The 3 officers quietly talked to him (he was calm) for 10 or 15 minutes (sobriety test, too) and they drove him away. The only words I heard was a cop gently saying *we're trying to keep you safe*.
These are our public service members. I don't think they have any desire to be trump monsters. I want to believe that.

I notice in all these discussions on race and injustice, native Americans are never ever mentioned. If we catalogued the indignities, injustices, exploitation and misery we have inflicted on them it far outweighs that imposed on any other racial group. The indigenous people of North America are invisible both in the MSM and social media.
It may be my Pawnee tribal connections influencing me, but I wouldn't in the slightest mind if we renamed America to a tribal name and restored huge blocks of the land to them that we stole.
