Can I tell you how long it took me to make this simple little gif? So long. The things I do for you all… but like seriously, I’m never going old school again. Computer assistance forever!

Oh, also too, I have some chocolate chip cookie links for you. https://open.substack.com/pub/martiniambassador/p/hamster-in-it-up

The adorableness suggests it was all totally worth the effort.

Oh gosh, Martini, that's is just the cutest, most adorable critter ever. Except for the Moopsi, of course:

You know, I've never watched that show. I should, though... looks right up my alley.

It's the funniest Star Trek ever. You could even use clips for the morning gif, except for the Paramount police crashing through your windows.

It's mesmerizing, and prompted me to eat ALL of my Vietnamese Coffee Twist in little bites before anyone else could get up and have any.

I tried tossing in a couple of mashed bananas and a scoop of sour cream into the standard Toll House recipe and made a sheet cake/bread out of it. So good, moist, and super easy!

I have been trying to read even-handedly about Israel and Palestine and it makes me want to cry. They're both wrong! And they're both right! Israel is oppressive! Hamas's explicit goal is to kill all the Jews!

And they both claim historic injury and insult. "You hit me back first!"

Somehow everyone's got to figure out a way to say, "Yeah, fuck all the history. We were both wrong. Here's 15 million people* and a chunk of land, we can figure out a way to make it all work."

And while I'm wishing, I would like to win the lottery please.

*15 million? It's what, 9 MM in Israel and the OPT plus another how-many million refugees outside of Israel? I dunno.

I still say No, they don't HAVE TO fight this war because it won't work any better than all the other times they have fought with Gaza. What they HAVE TO do to resolve the question is build up Gaza and the Palestinians at large as a livable modern polity. ie, share what they have achieved.

The giveaway is that the movement to war was so reflexive. It's about rage, not equity. And about Netenyahoo's miraculously unexpected opportunity to rally support for himself. There has not yet been any visible thought for doing anything else.

War is BAD. War is ALWAYS BAD. it's BAD when really do have to do it (UKR), when you don't have to do it it's EVIL. That's why Hamas is EVIL. Don't be like Hamas.

I don't have a penis yet I would totally understand if men became outraged if a bunch of women decided that all men should be circumcised - or not, or that all men should get vasectomies, or put tattoos on their dicks. Yet, even with those examples, I can't even come close to thinking about ANYTHING that women regulate wrt men that endangers their lives like pregnancy does to women. And yet SCOTUS dinguses actually believed that women would just forget all about Roe v Wade being overturned within 6 months before an election.

FFS - I got even more pissed off as I wrote this!

Just browsed that one (well, half or so of it). It's just companies complaining that people are staying, so they can't hire cheaper people, and sometimes they can do layoffs to cut costs. Just companies getting what they asked for - stop resigning en masse please! - and then regretting it. Also something about companies using machine learning to predict the number of openings, and then the actual number being much lower.

People are free to decorate however they like, IMO, but yesterday I saw a house with a Christmas tree inside and Halloween gack still on the lawn and this should not be a thing.
