When I was on site network admin, I emphatically did not let work computers back up important data to the cloud. Not just the possibility of hacking or cloud admin corruption, but the possibility of a crash and prolonged disconnect.
Losing a computer or our whole network was bad enough, but outside problems (like the monthly email crashes) were beyond my control and reach.
Also: it gets clearer every day why the Russians (and their American stooges) decided to endlessly promote the utter canard that Hillary was "irresponsible" and "careless" -- her private server was so secure that THEY couldn't hack into it (as opposed to literally everything else--read David Corn's book, it's horrifying).
