YOU SEE WHERE I'M GOING WITH THIS...

'Sir! There is a contingent of Bishops waiting beneath the portico. You are needed... urgently needed to translate and interpret newly discovered Bible words!'

WTF is wrong with this stupid bint and the rest of the Republicans and MAGAts out there? Democrats get married all the time and just like everybody else they have children, buy homes, pay mortgages, etc. The only difference is that we don't give a rat's ass what anybody does with their lives as long as they aren't sticking their noses into ours. Jeezus, the constant grievance with these bitches and bastards! I would love to send all of these people to Russian gulags so we wouldn't ever have to deal with them again.

I don't think there's a short answer to that one. :D

Stop right there.

When you're reduced to interviewing 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦𝘳 to fill airtime, it tells me that no one much is interested in coming on your podcast. And that in turn tells me that in all likelihood, you have very few listeners.

"U.S. District Judge Melissa Damian handed down the 10-year sentence after a more than four-hour hearing in federal court in Miami. Rivera, who has been held in federal custody since his trial, has vowed to appeal and filed an application for a pardon with the Justice Department earlier this year."

Because of course he has.

Took him off life support

A major Republican political action committee pulled the plug on financial support for its Senate candidate in North Carolina, Michael Whatley, according to multiple reports, as the party begins to triage resources amid increasingly dire midterm polling.

They diverted that spending to Kansas. KANSAS. I’m almost giggling.

Chemical's avatar

Really? I had assumed they were sending it here to Texas, due to the increase in pro-Paxton ads I've seen here. The GOP sending the money to Kansas is somehow even more hilarious.

I almost feel like having a drink to celebrate.

BTW, I've been in a battle with idiots screaming at me because Roger Marshall's campaign is failing.

Loving all this.

“Wisconsin and Michigan were lost in some presidential elections because certain candidates chose to veer Right on economic and foreign policy issues, which led to people who felt very strongly about those issues staying home.”

Oh, you mean dumbasses (with a “b”).

NC is interesting now. Used to be we would see VA go purple then blue first. That would give Rs time to work on keeping NC red. Their internal polls cannot be good for them.

Russell Jones's avatar

lol

So Mike Whatley somehow isn't getting N.C. wingnut underwear all moist? The hell you say!

Conservatives can't comprehend why anything outside of their chosen hierarchy is even allowed to exist.

"You need to get married, and have kids. Then you'll become right-wing."

"Hmm. Doubt that, and it has nothing to do with me doing either thing, but OK."

"And also you shouldn't be allowed to vote anymore."

AJ Milne's avatar

Always kinda suspected that ‘they hate us because we’re straight and married and have 1.8 kids’ is some kinda projection…

… like really they hate themselves because of that. They got some sneaking suspicion the other side is having a blast being all arty and lefty and with the blue hair and nose rings and tattoos and damn then why can’t they be miserable and all up in everyone else’s business like us.

(… and yeah dudes. You’re onto us. Totally a blast.)

"I think, like, the more trad she gets and the more she remains progressive in other ways, the more they think that she’s going to be able to persuade people over to their side."

So, if she's going "more trad" and influencing others to do that, isn't that what you want? Does it matter which party they support if they are still doing a thing you consider morally good?
