One of my friends was a grad student who reported sexual harassment by another grad student, and the university told her she and her harasser had equal responsibility to avoid each other. The de facto result was that he could go anywhere and she was required to avoid him.
Why I am sorry for what I did, even though everybody else does it

This is my essay to say I'm really sorry about what I did. It was wrong.
But you know what else is wrong? That Chi Phi has to take the blame for what every other Greek does every Saturday night! It's not fair! Did Triple Kap get punishment for what they did last year - 3 students went to the hospital!
Anyway, it just really makes you think.
PS and with finals coming up having to write this 'essay' is not helping me. I don't see how this helps me!
My daughter was molested at age 9 by a neighbor. It took everything I had not to confront him. In this situation the police did their job and filed charges but it takes time for the actual arrest and he got bail. He was behind our house for 8 months with a restraining order until he went to jail finally. The only reason I didn’t confront him was so I didn’t end up in jail myself. Lucky for everyone he never came near our house. But the story in this article? Yeah, I’m probably going to jail over it.
Simple fact, fear of punishment alone is not particularly effective in reducing the rate of crime. In societies where the most brutal forms of punishment are adopted crime still occurs. The punishment just becomes a source of public entertainment with innocent people often falling victim to it.
Parents need to teach their boys better, full fucking stop.
I blame them for this shit. Many parents of boys that I have known have been utterly lax about parenting them. Letting them do whatever they want on their computers (and you know it's watching violent vile porn).
