When my kid was in primary school in San Diego, we got a new student from Beijing. His mother came to the coffee morning / meet and greet thing. She spoke very little English. During the Q&A, she raised her hand and said something in 'Mandaringlish.' We must have all looked blank because she lifted her hand, folded her fingers into a gun, and pulled the invisible trigger a few times. Ugh. (The school had in fact asked the police to come in and advise them on what to do if they had a shooter.)

I've watched some of the videos of feral pig/wild boar hunts which some tout AR-15 types as necessary for, and they amount to "shoot a lot, hit a few, and you're making the problem worse." That's aside from the ethos I grew up with, which was "One shot, one kill." If you didn't get it with the first shot, you're not getting it with the next 10, and you shouldn't have taken the shot in the first place.
