From how YrW tells it, you'd think Hillary's only mistake ever was that tiny, itsy-bitsy part where she faceplanted a gimme election to our present affliction. And even that wasn't enough to wipe that self-satisfied smirk off her face.
Ta, Marcie. Not watching the videos now; I've cried quite enough for one day. We just pulled the second pizza from the oven (we finished the first one for lunch; made it last night and reheated our slices in the air fryer) and sprinkled the top with julienned fresh basil. I made a frittata; it's bagged up in the fridge and ready to travel. Meanwhile, darling husband Meccalopolis has an autumn frost squash chowder on the stove; its flavors are melding beautifully. Roasted squash, carrots, and parsnips, leeks, Cremini mushrooms, and macadamia nut cream are the stars. Our traditional soup for dinner Monday is going to be lit. Speaking of lit, it's a bit sunny out so I'm putting on my boots (with crampons) and going out to hug a tree or two. I hope everyone who has the day off is enjoying it.
Hillary "Cassandra" Clinton continues to be right. AOC did her thing as usual. It's a good set of people and a nice counterbalance to the empty suit that is Marco Rubio. That fucking quisling is going to find his way under the bus eventually.
Also love that Hillary cleared that fash politician right in front of everyone. Now this is something I want to point out too every time we hear the "Democrats would be rightwing in Europe!" shit. There are clear and active racist, ethnonationalist movements throughout that continent just as there are in the USA. Be very clear-eyed about this.
Just as in the USA, plenty of people are very willing to throw it all away if they are to share their positives of society with brown or Black people.
If Democrats have to nominate a straight white dude for President in 2028 (and that’s what will happen, because reasons), we could do worse than Mark Kelly.
I’d still prefer Tim Walz, but he’s already said he’s not running for public office again (and unlike the Mad King, I believe him). Maybe he can be appointed as Secretary of Education?
''Rubio told him, “your success is our success,” then he followed him home to Hungary. Yes, Viktor, you may keep him, but if that rude little beast shits in your house, you clean it up.'
I have a bone to pick with Hillary. She, infamously, claimed that 47% of Trump supporters were deplorable. That is such an underbid. It’s more like 97%.
I have a bigger bone to pick w/her: Her overconfidence, lack of expertise in rough-and-tumble trench warfare electoral politics, and love of her own voice did more than almost anything else to put us where we are today.
Did she say 47%? I remember her calling them a basket of deplorables, but I don't recall a percentage.
Romneybot-3000 was recorded at a millionaires-only fundraiser saying that 47% of the people are living off the government . The recording was heroically released by Jimmy Carter's grandson.
I think we could repair these relationships if, once we get the house, senate, and presidency, we make a few sacrifices. As in stone altar, heart plucking kind of sacrifices.
“I’m going to be very blunt with you,” Rubio said. “The prime minister and the president have a very, very close personal and working relationship, and I think it has been beneficial to our two countries.”
Rubio described U.S.–Hungarian relations as experiencing a “golden age” under Trump, crediting the rapport between the two leaders for deepening cooperation on energy, defense, and strategic alignment."
You know who else Trump had a very, very close personal and working relationship with?
"Good, Speed Racist, go!"

Trump's affinity for Hungary is his mis-learned name for its capital, Bootypest
It fits, because the pricktator is indeed a bootypest.
"There he was, that hairy hound From Budapest.
Never leaving us alone, Never have I ever known
A ruder pest"
I could be convinced to vote for an AOC/Kelly ticket.
The Oligarchs want to ruin everything so they can by up devalued assets with their liquid cash, then off-load them when they've improved in value.
And then do it all over again.
90% marginal rate to address in new Congress.

Mark Kelly is 60-something. I want someone younger. The presidency takes a toll on occupants.
Carl's book, The Unprotected Class: How Anti-White Racism Is Tearing America Apart, is part of Stephen Miller's wank bank.

Good point, I was confusing the two. Hillary actually said half of Trump supporters were deplorable.
Is there even going to be anything LEFT to repair after three more years of this shit show?
Repair... reinvent.... it's likely to be a combo of the two
There shall be NO references to "redemption", FFS.
There is already entirely too damned much blatant Christopathy in US government, thank you. Further less than veiled references will NOT be tolerated.
Norway arrests former P.M. named in Epstein Files:https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5yqr8eggvwo
Gonna be some ketchup on the walls
So looking forward to Trump being just another citizen again, without any of his presidential protections.

Sacrifice every Republican? Otherwise this will happen again the next time a Republican is elected president.
Just keep your tweezers handy.
"tweezers,' snort!

Trouble is there's no Off Switch for these dregs. No consequences, and no way to rebuild until they are gone.
They aren’t going anywhere. They’ll come back again.

Certainly not the American people.
Right, Marco, because America's economic and security power is based on our relationship with, checks notes, Hungary.
It all hinges on a tower in Warsaw.
Is it someone with whom he shared many wonderful secrets?
