... here's what it comes down to, I think. I don't believe you will accept any analysis that concludes Baucus did a good job, much less as good a job as circumstances permitted. Therefore you feel obligated to find something to complain about.

Senator Sarafina says it was not possible, and she is smart enough to realize that early on and not be such a fucking lying loser. I don't trust Sanders in any way, so that's a problem for me. Him not releasing his taxes, and lying about it, was a deal breaker. I can halfway get around the sexism and racism, because he's old and says things that come from his past, so could be unconscious about it. But the taxes issue shows he's fundamentally dishonest.
Expecting Hillary to release speech transcripts when he hadn't released his taxes was sexist and dishonest. Bottom line.
It started earlier than that, in Arkansas when she wouldn't do the traditional governor's wife bit. That's when I started liking her. She actually wanted to do things that would last, and be good for people, especially women and children.

Anarchy = women being enslaved to men, because that's how many men roll. Government is our protection, because we can vote and work to make laws that help to stop men from enslaving us.
Very true. Children are also enslaved unless we pass laws to protect them. Animals will be abused as well. There are societies where men don't behave this way, but they tend to be small, hunter-gatherer groups where everyone knows everyone and depends on everyone in the group to survive. Anarchy is one of those systems that seems attractive on paper or in theory, but in reality it doesn't work at all.
I remember when they first passed laws requiring child car seats, and many quite educated people objected to this for some unfathomable reason. But the truth is car seats had been around for a long time and many people weren't using them, so we had to pass a law to force them to do something sensible that would save children's lives.

Hell, if my only choices had been Donald Trump and a rabid chimpanzee, I would have voted for the chimp.
