In which we love and tolerate the SHIT outta 2016 We can all list the many, many things that sucked about 2016. We have spent much of our Wonkette Year In Review Spectacular whistling past them. So here is your ultimate smile-time feel-good (or mostly good) collection of the finest Nice Time Stories of this
Much to the displeasure of other New Yorkers! They didn't like him in the first place, you know all this extra traffic & security isn't helping. Never thought I'd see a person elected for President opt to live elsewhere.
This one is probably 8 years old, and in winters with a hard frost, it dies back to the ground, and generally grows this much in a season. Last winter the stalks survived, as it did not get too frigid here, but it probably would not get much bigger, just more stalks. In south Florida, they were like weeds and would get larger, with a bigger trunk, and I had to hack them back in certain areas as they grew so fast and spread. They like getting regular watering, but generally are easy keepers.I've had many colors, this one starts out white, and turns to a light coral/orange.Good luck, they are beautiful plants, and the aroma comes out after sunset, and is just lovely.
And I would expect you to. It's a ridiculous claim. But: You'd get all of the classic jazz/blues/soul/R&B recordings, all the best Sinatra/Bennet/Como/etc. work, and all the formative rock&roll. And, as a bonus, you'd get "Sergeant Pepper", "Are You Experienced", "Fresh Cream", "The Doors", and a bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now.
You could make a much stronger argument for an cutoff of 1980 or so, but that's just because I grew up in the 1970s and have Strong Views on '80s music and beyond.
I was 18 in '77, so I was into Punk Rock, which was a cultural as well as political and musical shifter. Then not long after that, really, Nirvana recorded their first album, Bleach. Then they released "Nevermind," which also caused a cultural shift. I loved them as much as I loved the Ramones. As far as '60's music goes, I was really young, I liked the Who, the Stones and the Kinks. Some great music has been released since '66, which was a good year for music, too.
That is what some folks call "a miracle." Be grateful to whatever Gods you may believe in that you witnessed one. SO many things had to go perfectly . . .I'm glad that they did.
It shouldn't be an option, now that I think about it. There should be a constitutional amendment that the president, and his/her spouse are required by federal law to live in the White House, unless they are doing the nation's business, or on vacation, which should be restricted to two weeks per year, like the rest of us working shits.

Thanks. It is remarkable.
Thanks. Of course we know so many people are ruined by medical bills and I'm afraid we will see many more suffer similarly in the next few years.
well, someone remembers his Boy Scout motto!

Only seeing this now, but I'm glad I did. I hope 2017 is better, by far, than you can imagine it to be.
Oh it's going to be Pink. I wish I could say more...

That's an excellent idea. The President is supposed to be a servant of the people, right?
Yep, and he's supposed to live in the People's House. That big, white one.
Nope.
Faceplant is what you make of it, just like the Tee Vee. One uses it, or it uses you.
It's where the new White House is.
