There are scads of community colleges all over Colorado. Most are part of the the Colorado Community College System, so they all offer cross-over curricula so that you can transfer between them at will or even take online courses from more than one at a time (I think). Most or all of them have tracks that will lead directly to one of our public universities.
you're such a communist that your comments about better funding for community colleges, early college high schools, voc tech programs and dual credit courses is completely in line with TX State Sen. Kel Seliger (R-Amarillo). we should start calling you "Dok Pinko"!
They don't want to pay people what they're worth. Greed factors in here, too. There is a steady supply of skilled H1B workers that they can over-work, and under pay, and the H1B holders dare not complain. You are SO correct about the incompetent hiring.
That's because HUMANS aren't looking at resumes, software is. The software screens for I-don't-know-what, then the HR person sees the resumes selected by the software. The rest of the resumes are trash.
Yep. My meteorology teacher was a retired USAF meteorologist. He definitely was teaching as a hobby, because he couldn't have lived on what he made as an adjunct professor. He was and is an excellent teacher.
not much of an exaggeration to say that employers are often advertising for Masters degree and 5 years experience for entry level posts. People who could do the job perfectly well but do not have those qualifications don't bother applying and the people who do have the qualifications either want a salary that reflects that or take the job and quit after a few months because they are bored stupid.
I always wondered what kind of education you could get from an place that advertsies on Cable tv. I am a bit suprised its an half way decent education, through going to your local community college is an lot cheaper.
No. Makes you look like you never dated. I can say that because I, too, fought the good fight back in the day.

Ditto for the for-profit radiology schools. Many only teach extremities and that's not even enough to get certified, either.
It just looks big in his hands.

You'd think someone would audit them ....
