Fresh Benghazi Nightmare coming right up. Forget governing the country. What we need is a continuous stream of bright shiny objects to deflect the populace's attention from infrastructure (THANK YOU PRESIDENT BIDEN!) and other important stuff for living here.

Surprisingly, the Kocks own P&G, who are closing the mill in Perry. They issued a most compassionate statement telling the people in the community to "suck it" and that their decision is final.

They should be proud to be sacrificed on the altar of Crapitalism.

‘F*ck You, Fascist!’ Charlie Kirk Swarmed by Hecklers At Northern Arizona University

Kirk — who was visiting the university for an open debate titled “Prove Me Wrong: The Government is Lying to You” — was greeted on campus with signs which read, “Facists [sic] fuck off!” “Charlie Kirk has a small face,” “Trans rights = human rights,” and “Charlie K. is a piss baby.”

Wow, Repukes failed to approve money for the ... PENTAGON? The one near D.C.? That Pentagon?

Not to worry though, very soon, editorials in our "liberal" MSM will be able to link this failure to Biden's advanced age and will persuade readers how all of this hampers Joe's chances of being re-elected.

If they don't figure something out soon, we're going to see a government shutdown that actually includes defense, and I wonder how that will work out for them.

Between this and Tuberville's holding up promotions, they've abandoned one of the things they claimed was a key principle of the conservative movement - strong national defense - and Democratic politicians had better be shouting that whenever the media actually offers them a microphone.

More than half is not a "partisan divide" if conservatives are half of the country tho

Just means that republicans are less likely. Or they are not half the country.

Expand full comment

They are not half the country. That's a lie they've been repeating for decades. They are not even half of the regular voters, just close enough to it that they can win elections. They're at most a third of country, possibly less.

Expand full comment

Reminds me of the military, which is kinda a microcosm thingy

For a long long time the press insisted they were mostly conservatives and the Republicans sure as shit told everyone that the military was on their side. Those on the left believed it also.

Then the military votes for Biden and the press were shocked and the Republicans started whining about wokeness.

But if you look at the voting patterns for the past few decades, the military as a whole was generally in thirds all along: 1/3 dem, 1/3 GOP and 1/3 whatever libertarian was saying no war today.

Rather makes it less conservative than it does a wash, voting wise, and has been thus for a whiles, so not sure why no one ever pointed this out before. I'd think the press would have at least known this enough to not be shocked.

Nice rainy morning. We have a 40ft tv antenna tower, and today's goal was to climb it and install a cellphone booster as high as possible, but I melt in rain. Starlink equipment is supposed to be delivered today, and that's gonna be quite an upgrade from the ol' dial-up.
