Transcripts are long, boring to read and won't get the attention of people the way live testimony would. No matter what he says, the GOP will claim he's guilty of all the crimes and they proved it and his testimony is tantamount to a guilty plea. It makes no difference what he actually says, because Fox viewers and Trump humpers certainly don't read transcripts. This will be a shitshow and real journalists will be working hard to clean up all the stupid that Fox and the White House are about to spray all over America.
