My baby brother, Justin, was in Arpaio's pink tent jail for several months and was bitten by a spider(?), it went septic and he was allowed out of jail for us (his family) to pay for his treatment. Gourd forbid the fuckers that allowed this to happen should pay for his treatment.
They maybe treated them like kings for five minutes. How long would it take for it to become obvious that these guys are just un-of-the-mill assholes who are more trouble than they're worth. Sure, the guards might agree with them on paper, but if they make their jobs harder, they'll just be more shitheads to deal with.
I suspect they mean that the prison guards are not forcing all the other inmates to wear things that white nationalists approve of.
Like, the prison guard refusing to assault the black guy in the Malcom X t-shirt and refusing to provide gang-like protection for them while they assault the guy feels like oppression to them.
The problem with this is that it doesn't seem to be the case. Several cops were quite happy to more or less usher the insurrectionists in to the capital even though that was definitely gonna make their life more difficult. On film, no less.

Guantanamo Bay Cuba is a detention facility that actually provides nutritional meals, routine sunlight exposure, top notch medical care, and is respectful of Religious Requirements. It has centers for exercise, and entertainment for the detainees, even though those detainees are Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Taliban that have actually killed American citizens.
As opposed to those at the Capitol on January 6, who... (checks notes)... actually killed American citizens!
