Half Naked GOP Bigot Yells N-Word On TV And It's All Your Fault

Also, it's Showtime's fault.

Jason Spencer is not having a good week at all. Like his fellow GOP members who have fallen victim to Sacha Baron Cohen on his new "Who Is America" series, Jason completely embarrassed himself. Unlike the previous victims, Jason didn't really have to be tricked or pressured one bit into displaying various vulgarities about variegated colors of people. Also, he showed his ass, and I do mean that literally.

So what's a balding, America loving, burqa banning, Confederate statue supporting, Georgia Assembly member to do when he gets caught screaming "NIGG*R!!" on Showtime? Well, one thing he can do is completely ignore calls for his resignation, shrug off criticism, and continue being a balding bigot while brokering bills for the state of Georgia.

Let's recap his terrible display of unfettered stupidity with a few selections from The Daily Beast:

For his segment in episode two of the British comedian's news-making Showtime series, Spencer, a four-term Georgia state representative, apparently had no problem shouting racial epithets and pulling down his pants at the suggestion that Islamic terrorists believe touching a male behind will "turn" them gay, among other horrifying behavior.

Ok, so, if you have not seen him drop his drawers to try to rub his bootay on a "terrorist" by using the power of "butt gaying" in order to disarm a gun wielding madman, then honestly, you're lucky. It's like watching your old boss doing a table dance at the company Christmas party, and no, not a fucking turn on at all. His beady eyes gleam with the newfound knowledge that his bountiful butt can be used as effectively as an IED as he runs backward screaming, "MMURICA!!" It was horrifying.

In a post-credits sequence that some viewers may have missed, he mimed cutting off the penises of what he refers to as "sand-n*ggers" and then eating them. "How are you going to rape children and women without a dick?" he asks with fury in his eyes. Suffice it to say all of this goes well beyond even the lawmakers who were "tricked" into advocating a guns-for-toddlers program in the previous week's episode.

Boy, he sure didn't hesitate to bust out any configuration of the n-word at any time during his escapade. Most normal people might be disinclined to say it at all, possibly opting to find an alternative slur like maybe "Fuckers!!" but no. Spencer not only had no qualms about it, he screamed it with vigor and passion. I almost felt guilty just watching him, and I'm black. And don't get me started on his impression of a Chinese tourist where he mentioned sushi, Red Dragon (is that a restaurant?), and said something in Japanese. Dude is racist against EVERYBODY, how is this possible? Oh, yeah. GOP.

Unfortunately for Spencer, his little tirade has scared the hell out of his fellow Georgians in the GOP, which is crazy because it is an actual fact that Spencer once told a black colleague that " she may end up missing " because of her opposition to his support for Confederate monuments. I mean, really. How the hell did he last this long, oh, yeah, that's right, the GOP is racist.

Governor Nathan Deal had words for him that predictably stopped way short of telling this Very Fine Person to fuck off out of politics and resign.

The actions and language used by Jason Spencer are appalling and offensive. There is no excuse for this type of behavior, ever, and I am saddened and disgusted by it.

If you are so saddened and disgusted, why don't you tell him to kick rocks? I would. Hey, Jason, kick rocks, fool. You're embarrassingly racist.

Spencer himself has released a statement where he places full blame on Showtime and Sacha Baron Cohen, and gives a fake apology at the end.

From CNN :

"In posing as an Israeli agent, [Cohen] pretended to offer self-defense exercises. As uncomfortable as I was to participate, I agreed to, understanding that these 'techniques' were meant to help me and others fend off what I believed was an inevitable attack.

"My fears were so heightened at that time, I was not thinking clearly nor could I appreciate what I was agreeing to when I participated in his 'class.' I was told I would be filmed as a 'demonstration video' to teach others the same skills in Israel. Sacha and his crew further lied to me, stating that I would be able to review and have final approval over any footage used.

"I deeply regret the language I used at [Cohen's] request as well as my participation in the 'class' in general. If I had not been so distracted by my fears, I never would have agreed to participate in the first place.

"I apologize to my family, friends, and the people of my district for this ridiculously ugly episode," Spencer said.

Look at that guy telling on himself, and all his Fox-watching brothers: "My fears were so heightened, I was not thinking clearly" because of "what I believed was an inevitable attack." That is NOT EXCULPATORY, JAS.

At least we won't be hearing from Spencer next term:

"Finally, there are calls for me to resign," he concluded. "I recently lost my primary election, so I will not be eligible to hold office next term. Therefore, I will finish the remaining five months at my post and vacate my seat."

As usual, nothing will actually happen with Jason Spencer other than nature taking its course. With the way the GOP has been letting Donald Trump get away with everything but that murder in broad daylight he spoke of (they would let him get away with that too), it's obvious they can't DO anything about anything. We will just wait for the next episode to see who got "tricked" into being hella racist on national TV. Prediction: it will be a Republican.
