The hubs and I were just the other day talking about which states are presently safe to move to. We live in Illinois, so no problem there, but have discussed retiring in New Orleans. That's starting to look dicey, considering our oldest is non-binary and we'd like them to be able to visit us. So Washington goes on the list!
Y'all, that guy is 45 damn years old. Just more proof that hate is bad for your skin. I'll be 44 this year and damned if I don't look 20 years younger than him.
Indeed it is, but having to live in the state of Louisiana is highly problematic, particularly in this day and age of conservative state legislatures doing everything they can to exercise total control over blue cities.
Oh, that's the insane beauty of the Idaho law: it applies only within Idaho, so it's basically a ban on driving toward the state border (or an airport, or going to the post office to pick up a package of pills) with the intent of helping a minor get an abortion.
States generally can't restrict interstate travel or commerce, and can't make anything a crime in some other state. So someone leaving Idaho to obtain healthcare in Washington has not done anything in which Idaho has a legitimate governmental interest.
It was a joke.
Cornell Law has a good explainer:

New Orleans is quite welcoming to the LGBQT+ community. The rest of the state not so much.

I'm also apparently dead wrong, hence the "not a lawyer" disclaimer
Yeah. I'm not confident another Democrat will be voted governor. He's really the only thing preventing the MAGA onslaught here.
It still sounded logical. :)
As an Idaho resident, I remain convinced that Brad Little is a hobo someone threw a suit on.
Well, we did fight a war about that.
Me too. I also love how the mouth breathers round here in E WA are so pissed off about all of this

I LOVE Ds and HATE Rs with the heat of a thousand suns.
I live in a town that has many many big trucks sporting the "piss on Inslee" graphic and other such delightful things
