ISIS is being run by a bunch of Ba'athist ex-Iraq military officers who are planning the very same takeover that Saddam orchestrated in 1968 with their coup d'état. This isn't some spontaneous religious caliphate,those people are just the useful idiots being manipulated by the very power elite that we toppled when we invaded and all they're doing is trying to restore the government that we destroyed.
