Jeb Bush is saying words with his mouth again, and as we all know, that doesn't tend to go well. Speaking at Thumbtack, a start-up in San Francisco, Jeb! attempted to answer the age old question: Should people discriminate against gays by refusing to sell them flowers?
What's even sadder is that despite their stupidity they have managed to get two of them elected POTUS (three if you throw in Bab's uncle, pre Civil War failure Frankie Pierce,)
That drives me nuts too. Honey, it's cute that you think we want you to participate with us, but you're the help. Now let's get back to arranging those fucking flowers.
That is indeed their fear, but it has 0% chance of happening. Churches have an exemption a mile wide from many laws, including anti-discrimination ones. In the countries with marriage equality no church or minister has been forced to participate ever. Not one. Never happened, never will. But fear sells, religion knows better than anyone!
I think the real real fear is in the public services run BY churches, like adoption agencies etc. These indeed have to abide by the law, but bigot Christians would rather keep their bigotry than help children, thus the "agencies *forced* to close" lie repeated by Catholics like Gingrich, Santorum etc.
we could call it republican syndrome. the palins are a shining example of multi-generational out of touch stupid. I could go on, but I'd be boring you.
locally,we have the cutest little tiny wooden church in a very wooded area, that was purchased by a smart man years ago and is rented out for weddings. You provide your own spiritual guide or whatever. I'm sure the owner is only too happy to accept gay money since his religion is profit, and not prophets.
Good point. Metaphors drawn between the Bush family and, well - just about anything else, are rarely fair to the entity being compared.
"participating" - ?!
Since when are wedding vendors considered participants of any wedding?!
Talking out of both sides of your mouth is harder when you can't even remember which side you are talking to.
Similar to Hillary's argument, but I digress.
He's running in 2020 if Jeb loses.
yebbit, this time it's a circus train full of crazy coming, and they won't wait their turn. it should be scary fun to watch.

Yep, or and and ain't the same. FYI, the world's shortest fire mission:ShootShotShortShit!

just think. 4or8 years later she can go on an apology tour too. really, she could just withdraw, join bill right now and go home and shut the fuck up.
often that's the only way some actors get an oscar. too bad they didn't give ray gun one. maybe he would have gone home and rested on his laurels.
thanks for that. I remember it, haven't thought about it for many years.
This story is written exactly as Jeb Bush intended. The quotes for normal people are offered up front, and the quotes for bigots are hidden below.
