What else can they do? It's easy for us over here to pass judgement, but they are there. The Palestinians have waited decades for a justice that has not come. Maybe they are making a mistake (yeah buddy) but it may be what they need to do. After all, no one noticed the crappy conditions in the camps before the Intifadas, (I don't know if things have improved) but with no one in the world noticing, nothing will change. And they feel it is time for change for the better, in contrast to whatever the so-called president is doing.

Could be Wormtail, also too - he's Voldemort's sidekick in the Harry Potter novels.

After the arboreal thugs we endured during the obama thing, Sessions is truly a breath of fresh air !!!!

There is a 90% certainty that picture is one of a Democrat. Likely an actor, which would make it a 95% certainty. Anyone who would have an inkling to look that part would definitely be a Democrat. Any reasonable person would agree with this whether they admit it or not.

Ah, right. I've only ready HP once. I've read Tolkien probably a couple dozen times, so that came up in my brain first. I think Wormtail actually might be the better choice. Wormtongue had ambition to be the head guy. Sessions is happy to be the dog.

I'm confused, are you saying that Curie had a surprising aptitude for pastry, or that the Trump administration secretly passed new regulations concerning who is entitled to make pithy observations?

If you're looking for a villainous sidekick to compare Sessions to, try Ralph (or Ranulf) Flambard (1060-1128), who was an influential government minister of the medieval King William Rufus of England. Author Thomas Costain describes Ralph in his book "The Conquerors" in this way: "The King, his head crammed with greed and the determination to make himself master of everything, was looking for an instrument and found the perfect one in the suave, handsome, genial and diabolically clever Ralph ... Ralph Flambard was clever enough to find ways in which William could disregard the laws and flout tradition without seeming to do so. So ingenious was he, in fact, that it was made to appear as though the covetous King was always within the law."https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Except you'd have to leave out the "suave, handsome and diabolically clever" part.
