Attorney General ( * vomit! * ) Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III gave a great big important speech about free speech at Georgetown Law School Tuesday where he said that campuses need to stop infringing on rightwing students' free speech rights, saying the Justice Department will intervene in court cases where it believes colleges are limiting the unalienable rights of conservative speakers to say whatever they want without any criticism. Sessions denounced the presence of a "mob" at UC Berkeley when Ben Shapiro recently spoke there, with police in riot gear keeping protesters separate from rightwing supporters.
I've always understood that free speech zones on campuses were for larger demonstrations. like having a Take Back the Night rally in a place well away from the dorms so that we don't wake up the kids who have a chem exam at 8 am. as far as I have seen, there are no campus free speech zones which restrict the distribution of fliers unless that distribution creates some sort of other public nuisance such as litter. so long as the people handing out their literature weren't also chanting and standing in front of 5'X8's of dismembered fetuses, I have a hard time believing they violated the campus' free speech zone requirements. I would like more information on why the campus said they did because I'm guessing it wasn't for the comic books they were handing out.
There was a great still photo in last night's episode of "The Vietnam War" - it was a photo of college students protesting against the killings at Kent State in 1970. Take a look at these three faces - these are not snowflakes complaining about "safe spaces", these are dedicated, serious young people who are committed to a cause. So lemme get this straight.Football players silently kneeling is being ungrateful to this great nation and the government should call for their firing.But Milo and Ann literally demonizing a large section of the united states as traitors, or christians handing out leaflets of why the gays will burn forever, and people telling them to STFU, is actual suppression of speech.

Students who got their bad loans forgiven for falling prey to scammy profit schools is looking for "free money" but a buncha christinistas who were asked to do their christianing somewhere else but not actually prevented from doing it are fighting for their first amendment rights.
Well of course the college campuses and the graduate programs are chock-a-block crammed with liberal lefties and progressive, elite teaching staffs!
You actually have to score well on ACT or SAT tests, make good grades, do your homework and actually demonstrate some potential to THINK to get into these programs. This gives lefties a distinct advantage when it comes time for admission decisions.
These competitive hurdles leave donnie's base at the starting gate. Conservatives get left out of elite programs because they simply cannot cut it.
