I feel as if I've slipped into an alternate reality stream in which the last four years has a `did that really happen? Nah, couldn't have' quality about it.

And how cool is this? It comes sized for people with & without chesticles instead of the default.

[flips back through mental Rolodex of previous press secretaries, finds SNL characters filed alongside the characters parodied, decides to leave them]I know! Weird, isn't it? I think she could play herself on SNL better than anyone they pulled in to do it. [pictures standing ovation with which she would be greeted]

Reporter: “Just asking to be sure our ‘reports’ are right, but Dems in disarray?”

Psaki: “Adults are speaking, honey. Did you finish your homework yet?”

I think the reason Biden is only talking to Republicans now about the stimulus bill is because they are going to have to step up with a realistic plan. Basically, Biden is saying "We have a plan. If you want to negotiate any changes, you need to bring something to the table besides the horse shit you proposed." Only then will it be up to Democrats to discuss a deal.

Not sleeping tonight, sadly, so going with these. Even if I have no sleep, I'll be rejuvenated.

I reckon this is the most accurate. The various factions of "conservatives" share no common principle. (Most are deeply racist, but not all; Some are straight plutocrats.)

What unites them is that each subgroup wants to destroy something that liberals value. Women's or LGBT rights, racial justice, free and fair elections, responsible environmentalism, regulating corporate capitalism, and so on.

This is the very definition of reactionary, someone who builds their identity on opposing political or social progress.

The previous White House tried that with Jim Acosta 8th November 2018. They did it because he asked trump a multi part question.

https://edition.cnn.com/201...

by the 13th November CNN was suing the white house to get his pass backhttps://www.theguardian.com...

He returned on the 16th November when a Judge ruled the that the White House had behaved inappropriately in stripping Mr. Acosta of his press badge shortly after a testy exchange

https://www.nytimes.com/201...

So as good as it feels to think faux oann etc could be kicked out, it's not likely to happen.

"Taking away the pass that gave Mr. Acosta access to the White House amounted to a violation of his right to a fair and transparent process, the judge ruled."

Watching Jen today and I LOVE HER.

She is doing great, IMHO. But I still find watching her stressful, given our world of gotcha politics. Most importantly, with all those pages of notes (a good thing in an honest, professional organization) .... has anyone considered the plight of all the trees?!

To be fair, she is fully qualified to be a Fox News empty head.

That poor woman. So early into the term and already she has already exhausted her supply of fucks.

Probably good to get that out of the way early anyway.
