GQP: No laws can stop regularly-occurring mass shootings (in the only country that has them) or police killing people (in numbers unseen in other advanced democracies). Now 'bortions and acceptance of trans kids on the other hand...

OK, I'll say it.

"Liberal havens" like NYC and California exist because their residents have vicious systems of abuse close to hand. NYC wouldn't be possible without the NYPD and Rikers. LA wouldn't be possible without the LAPD amd California's notorious penitentiary system.

Without the "intractable" systematic abuse of black men, nobody would feel comfortable voting Democrat.

So me voting for democratic party candidates depends on my support for the subjugation of black men, I did not know that!

"Presumably, if Jordan saw video of teachers torturing children, he wouldn’t shrug his shoulders and say there’s nothing he could do. He’d demand sweeping policy changes."

I'm not sure Gym deserves this presumption.

He was cool with wrestlers being molested, so there's that.

Sounds like bullshit to me. They don't even mention the abuse of Latinos.

OK, I'll repeat myself. No liberal mayor, governor or national political has any serious plan on the table to deal with police brutality and punitive incarceration.

"These five individuals did not have any respect for life," he went on.

No way he says this if they were white. The Republicans are using this situation to ingratiate themselves with moderates by siding with the victim but not alienating the right because they know their base is racist and won’t care that they are siding against police since they are black this time

Disagree. I vote Democrat and the last thing I want is the systematic incarceration and harassment of minorities so I feel “safe”. That’s never crossed my mind. I want honest decent police work that involves community outreach. We will always need law enforcement but these stop and frisks and routine traffic stops are not how it’s done

Presumably, if Jordan saw video of teachers torturing children, he wouldn’t shrug his shoulders and say there’s nothing he could do. He’d demand sweeping policy changes executions. Shit, he’s almost there without the video.

Gym had a ready made answer for the situation. I believe it's a leftover from when he was a coach. It has served him well over the years.

"Well, I don't know that there's any law that can stop that kind of evil that we saw — that is just difficult to watch.

"successful police doesn't rely on the absence of crime, only the perceived absence of crime."

Crime is the lowest it's been in decades and yet people are getting all worked up.The systemic oppression is a tool for certain politicians to get elected, nothing more.If we stop demanding it, it will stop.

Yes. Unfortunately, voting for candidates of any other party or not voting at all depends on greater support for the subjugation of black men.

The proof is that blue states and cities have by far the most abusive police and prison systems
