Well, to be fair, human papillomavirus, which causes cervical cancer, is transmitted sexually in semen... Of course, these yahoos probably oppose the use of the HPV vaccine.

The miscarriage or premature birth of a child conceived in unfaithfulness can also be attributed to the stress of the cup of bitter water. This interpretation assumes that the accused WOMAN is pregnant when she is brought before the priest. If the child is the husband’s, she has no reason for guilt, and the child will live.

I think they are saying here that their priest makes the woman drink something bitter that is potentially hazardous to the fetus, and then when she miscarries, they go see harlot!So basically these guys are performing abortions in their own words?
