Imma laughing. I can't remember the model of Jaguar I wanted but I test drove one and it was like buttah. Didn't buy it because the seller was a bit mysterious and did not want to have it inspected.
If the Democrats were anywhere near as left wing as all too many people believe they are that's exactly what they'd do along with nationalizing the railroads and airlines.
Dad died in 1968 from his second heart attack. All his physical problems were diabetes-related. Looking at his history, he probably was not Type II as he believed (diagnosed around age 13), but Type I. Not that it would have made any difference; working with resin dyes in plastics before OSHA led to the collapse of his circulatory system. I think insulin was a dollar and a half a bottle back then, but I really wasn't paying close attention to the family finances till he died.
Diabetes and prediabetes run rampant through the population of clients I serve. It's hard to teach an adult how to eat.
Years back (ok, decades) I had a 1970 Fiat sport 850 convertible. It had a little bitty lawnmower-sized engine and I had to work on it every weekend to keep it running. Eventually tired of it and bought a Toyota. But I don't think I've ever had more fun driving a car. It's still sitting in my garage.
Seems like some are finally admitting the silliness of that 'justification' for price-gouging, at least in this case. It's a low-cost way for them to appear to be one of the good guys.
Especially the utilities - Sempra made 2+billion last year in profits while using a false flag to pit energy customers in CA against each other (those who have solar vs those who don't). SO backwards.
Maybe he could talk to the makers of jardience, without our health plan deductible I just had to pay 1100$ for 90 pills. Insane, without the coupon we found online it would have been 1644$.
someone I knew from OK worked in a shop. Turns out if you shift the rear engine mounts back 4 inches you can drop in a 289 no problem. Tire were an ongoing expense, tho.
Soshulizm.
I thought they were referring to your "little nubs".
Smrt.
LOL 😆

You must have the luck of the Irish.
I am heartily chortling.

And the utilities!

I'm entirely too enthusiastic about GM's drop-in EV powertrain, designed to more or less bolt in where a small block was.
